BRUSHCOTE:
ACRYLIC MODIFIED
WATERPROOF AND DECORATIVE COATING FOR POURED CONCRETE, PRECAST AND ANY
MASONRY SURFACE.
PURPOSE:
BRUSHCOTE HAS BEEN
FORMULATED TO SURFACE CONCRETE AND MASONRY STRUCTURES WITH A BRUSH OR SPRAY
APPLIED (WITH THE CORRECT EQUIPMENT), WATERPROOF, DECORATIVE COATING.
PRODUCES A UNIFORM, FINISHED APPEARANCE ON MOST MASONRY SURFACES. HOWEVER
IN SOME CASES AN ADDITIONAL APPLICATION OF BRUSHCOTE SEALER MAY BE
DESIRABLE.
BRUSHCOTE
WILL FILL HOLES, CRACKS, IMPERFECTIONS, MOST
ROUGH OR OTHERWISE DEFECTIVE AREAS IN CONCRETE STRUCTURES. IT EFFECTIVELY
SEALS CONCRETE MASONRY WALLS AND CEILINGS REGARDLESS OF SEVERITY OF
SHRINKAGE CRACKS IN ,MORTAR OR SPONGINESS IN THE FACE OF THE BLOCK.
BRUSHCOTE
INORGANIC FILM WILL LAST INDEFINITELY ON
EXTERIOR EXPOSURES.
DESCRIPTION:
BRUSHCOTE IS A
TWO-COMPONENT ACRYLIC POLYMER MODIFIED HYDRAULIC COATING WHICH IS SUPPLIED
IN READY TO MIX UNITS. NOTHING ELSE IS ADDED. WHEN COMBINED IN THE PROPER
PROPORTIONS, AN EASILY BRUSHABLE COATING IS PRODUCED. WHEN APPLIED TO
CONCRETE OR MASONRY, A UNIFORMLY COLORED, WATERPROOF SURFACE IS PRODUCED
WHICH IS SELF-CURING. THE ACRYLIC POLYMER RESIN PROVIDES BRUSHCOTE WITH
EXCEPTIONAL ADHESION, RESILIENCE, FLEXIBILITY, TOUGHNESS, AND DURABILITY.

DIRECTIONS:
SURFACE MUST BE FREE OF
OIL, GREASE, WAX AND DIRT. SPALLED DEEPLY DISINTEGRATED CONCRETE SHOULD BE
REMOVED TO SOUND CONCRETE AND PATCHED WITH VO-500 MANUFACTURED BY E.L.S.
PRODUCTS CORP.
MIXING:
BRUSHCOTE IS SUPPLIED IN
PRE-MEASURED UNITS AND SHOULD BE MIXED ON THE JOBSITE IN CLEAN CONTAINERS.
SLOWLY ADD THE POWDER TO LIQUID AND MIX, PREFERABLY WITH A PROPELLER
AGITATOR ATTACHMENT TO A SLOW SPEED DRILL. DO NOT MIX MORE THAN WHAT CAN BE
USED IN 1 - 2 HOURS. MIX THOROUGHLY AND KEEP MIXED DURING APPLICATION.
MIXING RATIO IS 2 GALLONS OF BRUSHCOTE LIQUID TO 1-50 LB BAG BRUSHCOTE
POWDER.
APPLICATION:
MORE EASILY APPLIED OVER
DAMP SURFACES, ESPECIALLY IF SUN IS DIRECTLY ON SURFACE, APPLY BRUSHCOTE
USING SHORT, STIFF BRISTLE BRUSH. THE SURFACE MAY BE PRIMED BY LIGHTLY
SPRAYING THE BRUSHCOTE LIQUID COMPONENT ON SURFACE OR SLIGHTLY DAMPENING
WITH WATER. A 5 TO 7 INCH WIDE BRUSH IS RECOMMENDED. APPLY LIKE, PAINT,
ONE OR TWO COATS AS CONDITIONS REQUIRE. DO NOT APPLY AT TEMPERATURES BELOW
45 DEGREES.
CLEAN UP:
CLEAN EQUIPMENT WITH
WATER IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE.
COVERAGE:
ONE UNIT OF BRUSHCOTE
CONTAINS SUFFICIENT MATERIAL TO COVER APPROXIMATELY 700 - 1250 SQ. FT.
DEPENDING ON THE SURFACE. BRUSHCOTE SEALER - 250 -400 SQ. FT. PER GALLON.
COLORS:
GRAY OR WHITE
PRECAUTIONS:
PROTECT FROM FREEZING DO
NOT APPLY WHEN TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 45 DEGREES F. DO NOT WET CURE..
